About Us

The Nevada Strong Start Child Care Services Centers (CCSC) are “one-stop-shops” for child care provider training, quality improvement supports, small business administration resources, networking, behavioral and health referrals for children, child care subsidy resources, educational and professional development grants, small business loans, and early childhood substitute teachers. The CCSCs exist thanks to a collaborative partnership with multiple public and private partners working in one shared space to create a coordinated and aligned Early Childhood Education (ECE) System that ensures all child care providers have access to the resources, supports, and information needed to operate their business successfully and provide high quality care to Nevada’s children and families. The CCSCs have two physical locations, in Reno and Las Vegas, in addition to the virtual hub.

In addition to the services available in-person at both locations, nevadaccsc.org provides additional access to over 2600 resources for all providers statewide. Providers need to create a free account to access the online resources.

Federal funds help support the administrative operations of the CCSCs including state staffing, operating, contractual, and supply expenses.
